Rue21 uses predictive analytics for buying decisions

Rue21 has partnered with First Insight in a move that is allowing the teen speciality apparel retailer to use predictive analytics to assist with buying decisions on categories including apparel, footwear and accessories.

The company, which operates its Rue21 etc!, Rue+, Ruebeauté!, RueGuy, Ruebleu Swim, and Carbon brands, will test a range of new products to determine which will best drive speed-to-market and eliminate those that under-perform.
