A new survey reportedly shows more consumers now prefer Walmart to Amazon.

Data from three surveys conducted by First Insight and shared with CNBC indicates 55% of consumers would rather shop at Walmart than Amazon, up from 47% in 2018. Meanwhile, the percentage of consumers who prefer shopping Amazon dropped to 45% from 53%.

Perhaps of more concern to Amazon, First Insight data also reveals that 40% of consumers make purchases on Amazon six or more times a month, down from 80% in December 2017. In addition, 52% of survey respondents said they belong to Amazon Prime in 2019, compared to 59% in 2018.
